Respiratory System

The respiratory system is the network of organs and tissues that help you breathe. This system helps your body absorb oxygen from the air so that its organs can work. It also cleans residual gases, such as carbon dioxide, blood. Common problems include allergies, diseases or infections. Respiratory diseases include asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pulmonary fibrosis, pneumonia and lung cancer. It is also called pulmonary disease and pulmonary disorder.

Glutathione (GSH), an omnipresent tripéptide, is an intra and extracellular vital protector antioxidant against oxidative/nitrosative stress, which plays a key role in the control of pro -inflammatory processes in the lungs.

The glutathione system is one of the main antioxidant mechanisms of the lung, since it participates both at the cellular level and the liquid covered by the alveolar epithelium, protecting it against oxidizing agents, electrophile compounds and other toxic. There are more than 182,000 thousand references of research studies of the benefits of glutathione. There are more than 14,000 thousand of the respiratory system and glutathione.
